Arizona businesses can prove IC status with signed declaration

A new Arizona law effective Aug. 6 allows employers to prove the existence of an independent contractor relationship by having the worker sign a declaration, The National Law Review reports. Under the new law, such a declaration, though rebuttable, creates the  presumption that an independent contractor relationship exists.
