Widespread acceptance and adoption of VMS-derived diversity data could potentially accelerate the evolution of contingent DE&I. The market could already be heading swiftly in this direction, with 83% of contingent workforce managers indicating they would seriously explore or are already exploring VMS-derived diversity data. The realization of this would be game-changing, allowing companies to make strides in measuring diversity, equity and inclusion and to take the next steps to increase belonging and enhance program performance.

And according to SIA’s VMS Global Landscape Summary 2022 report, many VMS providers are expanding their offerings to encourage diversity, prevent bias at the hiring stage and protect candidate data to help to build and encourage diverse talent communities and to provide actionable insights on diversity using analytics. These initiatives are described within the report.
