There were 27.8 million temporary workers in the EU in the third quarter of 2018, including 6.2 million in service and sales and 4.0 million in the professional occupations, according to the “European Employment Barometer” produced by SIA in collaboration with the World Employment Confederation. The European Employment Barometer is an interactive tool that provides an overview of key labor market indicators relevant to the staffing, recruitment and workforce solutions industry in Europe.

The dashboard shows labor quarterly market trends in 33 different countries, from the second quarter of 2016 until the latest data release. In addition to national data, the tool tracks several aspects of temporary employment trends, such as temporary worker education levels and economic activity. It is available to CWS Council and SIA member companies.
