SIA is accepting nominations for the 2021 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Influencers — US and Canada list.
Introduced last week, the list aims to recognize those leaders in organizations who are heading up the charge to not only make diversity, equity and inclusion a focus, but to make real change in their organizations and the ecosystem.
The list is not a ranking and will be based on the nominations. Whom should you be nominating? We are looking for people who have made a demonstrable influence on our ecosystem. The DE&I influencer is one who is having tough conversations about race, gender and equality and challenging others to think differently.
The list is open to all corners of the workforce solutions ecosystem including people from staffing firms, buyers of staffing services, VMS/MSP/RPO providers, talent platform firms and vendors.
Those making nominations should be prepared to include examples of where their nominees are speaking out on diversity and how those conversations are changing attitudes or how their initiatives have effected change. It would be best if we could see the degree of impact and the repeatability/scalability of efforts made. The duration of the nominee’s efforts will also be factored into list inclusion.
Nominations are accepted through March 5.
