Delaware becomes 10th state to raise minimum wage to $15 an hour

Delaware Gov. John Carney on Monday signed a bill to raise the state’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2025, Newsweek reported [1]. The state’s minimum wage currently is $9.25.

Nine other states have passed legislation to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour: California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island, as well as the District of Columbia.
