Staffing Industry Analysts has released its 2023 Diversity-Owned Staffing Firms – US & Canada list, comprising 239 firms that self-identify as being under diversity ownership, an increase of 33 firms from the 2022 list.

Creating diverse supplier programs ranked as enterprise organizations’ most popular strategy for supplier management, according to SIA’s Workforce Solutions Buyer Survey 2022 research report. About 69% of large firms had a supplier diversity program in place with 25% seriously exploring program implementation within the next two years. Additionally, 59% of large firms have candidCate diversity programs in place with 36% planning program implementation in the next two years.

“SIA remains committed to showcasing vital diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in the staffing and workforce solutions ecosystem. And on the front lines of those efforts are the staffing firms built by individuals from underrepresented groups,” said SIA Chief Operating Officer Ursula Williams. “We not only congratulate the firms featured on our 2023 Diversity-Owned Staffing Firms list, but also thank them for their leadership as change agents in the world of work.”

SIA has published its Diversity-Owned Staffing Firms list annually for more than a decade to showcase the growing number of staffing companies with a wide diversity of ownership.
