Industrial bakery to pay $675,000 to settle contingents’ bias lawsuit

A Chicago-area bakery and a staffing firm agreed to pay $1.04 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging racial bias, according to a filing in federal court. An additional $1.3 million is on the table for attorneys fees.
