Health insurance exchanges are gaining traction among temporary workers. In our 2015 North America Temporary Worker Survey, we asked temporary workers assigned by staffing suppliers about their current use and plans regarding health insurance exchanges. Not only did 38% note that they currently receive healthcare insurance from an exchange (up from 25% in last year’s survey), but an additional 20% reported they expect to purchase health insurance on an exchange in two years.
