We asked more than 5,000 North American temporary workers from 38 staffing firms how likely they are to recommend their primary staffing supplier/agency to a friend or colleague.
Taking into account positive, negative and neutral responses, we calculated the providers’ net promoter score (NPS) to be 44% — comparable to scores measured in the five previous surveys. (Source: SIA Temporary Worker Survey 2017 [1])
Temporary workers were also asked to suggest improvements in their staffing firm. Suggestions typically concerned communication, pay and benefits, and website issues.
The NPS method of question and scoring [2], developed by Harvard professor Fred Reichheld, has been shown to accurately reflect employees’ or customers’ general assessment and attitude toward the organization with which they have a relationship.
