Lifting restrictions on high-skill immigration has wide support of economists surveyed by the National Association for Business Economics. Additionally, a majority of respondents believes that the federal minimum wage should either be increased or be increased with exemptions.
The survey found 79% of surveyed economists support the federal government lifting restrictions for high-skill immigrants. Just 15% oppose the policy.
The survey also asked what changes they thought should be made to the federal minimum wage.
