US Citizenship and Immigration Services announced Oct. 3 that it resumed premium processing for all types of H-1B visa petitions, according to a report by law firm Miller Canfield in JD Supra. “USCIS’ announcement will come as welcome relief to employers and employees awaiting decisions on pending petitions or seeking flexibility to change status, change employers, and travel,” according to the report. H1-B visas are used to bring highly skilled temporary foreign workers, such as IT professionals, to the US.
