Interest in sourcing automation has grown considerably over the past several years, and enterprise adoption of sourcing automation tools has followed suit. SIA’s Workforce Solutions Buyers Survey of enterprises with more than 1,000 full-time employees found that 79% of enterprise buyers either have sourcing automation technology in place (43%) or are likely to seriously explore it within two years (36%).

Furthermore, enterprise adoption of sourcing automation technology has grown consistently since 2020 and may have reached an inflection point this year as enterprise adoption jumped from 31% in 2022 to 43%. Compared to other candidate discovery technologies, adoption of sourcing automation tools is outperforming that of talent platforms and expanding faster than that of online job advertising tools.
